These images are my impressions of the fishing village of Staithes in North Yorkshire. Facing the North Sea, its harbour is embraced by Jurassic cliffs and backed by a jumble of pantile roofs, all filled with the sight and sound of kittiwakes and herring gulls. I managed to rise early enough to see two glorious sunrises. The third morning was cloudy so instead I faced inland and created images of the café wall.
